There’s a truckload of reasons you should
catch one of these Kevin Hart shows at Cap City—a Special
Event in every sense of the phrase--but one of them is that doing
so will enable you to later brag that you once saw Kevin Hart in
a comedy club. This guy has enjoyed such a meteoric rise that it
wasn’t all that long ago that his job was selling shoes--now
he could probably buy that shoe store, and if he keeps rolling along
that wildly successful path, it won’t be long before he’ll
be able to buy the shoe company. The tale thus far goes something
like this: He was working as a shoe salesman in Philadelphia when
he headed to a local comedy club and tried his hand at an open-mic
night. Things clicked, the bug bit, and he was off, soon performing
at key clubs on both coasts and elsewhere—including Amsterdam
& London. It’d be the very definition of an understatement
to say that Kevin forges a powerful connection with audiences wherever
he performs. Showbiz execs took notice and recognized that, not
coincidentally, Kevin was enormously talented. So it wasn’t
long before Kevin landed a deal to write, exec-produce and star
in the 2004 ABC-TV sitcom “The Big House,” which bore
more than a passing resemblance to his family in Philadelphia. And
he’s already been in a slew of films, including “Paper
Soldiers,” “Scary Movie 3,” “Along Came
Polly,” “Soul Plane,” “The 40 Year Old Virgin,”
Scary Movie 4.” Things are popping for Kevin Hart—heck,
they have been almost from the get-go—and even if his success
in film and television somehow still leaves room in his schedule
to continue performing stand-up, it’s a safe bet that the
venues will soon be theaters, amphitheaters and arenas. So don’t
miss this rare and probably fleeting opportunity to see him in a
club—get your tickets for his Cap City engagement NOW!
